When we originally asked for stories about Tim, we had no idea what we were going to receive. Then they came in multitude, in all forms imaginable from photographs to poems, from songs to anecdotes. They have been funny, heartwarming and educational. We have found so much joy in this form of celebration that we invite you to continue this sharing here.

Thanks Tim for true blue sky day!!!!

Today, of all days, grandson Pete is playing in the MA HS state golf tournament, a big deal for a freshman !

As they prepared for the trip they decided he would wear "the belt ", which has Tim's signature on the buckle, which is a tradition to pass to winner whenever family members play together. "Just so happens" that the home we live in now has leather tools in cellar - perfect for making new hole for custom fit for Pete ( of course ).

To leave for Great Barrington course yesterday the rain and wind caused am MV boats to be cancelled. But as time around 10 a tiny piece of rainbow was spotted peeking thru the grey clouds, soon an entire rainbow filled the sky and a ferry was on it's way with the 2 Petes ( next boats not so lucky ). Sunshine and the special clear " blue sky " that appears after a storm, greeted them on their arrival to inspect the beautiful course.

Coincidence ??? I think not .

He is playing as I write. No matter how it goes today , he has this day a special blue sky day for him .

Happy Birthday Tim! I miss you every day.

I know Tim and Nick are kicking back and celebrating together today. And I know Nick would be thrilled to see us celebrating his friend's life as well.

I have been thinking of Tim all day. Oliver (who is quite interested in birthdays lately) and I have been talking about this day for a few weeks. He is pleased to announce "Uncle Timmy's" when you ask him whose birthday is today. He actually mentions Uncle Timmy more than I would expect, considering Tim and Ollie never met in this world. Every time he says his name in his little voice it is bittersweet.

Nick and I were so excited and honored to have a little person who we could name Oliver Timothy. I will be so proud if Ollie demonstrates a fraction of the compassion, empathy, patience, and love that Tim did. I hope I can capture both Nick and Tim's true essence to pass on.

On Tim's birthday I think of one of the greatest gifts he has given me and that is sharing his close friends, whom I would have never otherwise known. Mary and John immediately come to mind. They have been great friends and a source of support to me-thanks Tim! I can only imagine Tim smiling down when our kids get together to play.

Peace and love to you all!

TEN ! 10 years, so hard to believe
So many disconnected thoughts and feelings wandering thru as I try to find words for today.

So I will wander with them..........

When asked about a favorite birthday as he turned 21 ( not his best day I heard), he easily replied that turning 10 and reaching double figures was THE BEST of all.

How sweet and gentle ( Tim feelings ) it is to think there is a Greg ( Coombs), John Timothy (Brereton ) and an Oliver Timothy ( Rosselli ) in our world. But , then I must think of Nick , the sadness rolls in so heavily and real. Have to believe they are free of pain and "hanging out" like the cool guys they will always be to and for us all.

Such a Blue Sky day here today and such a very special Blue Sky Day on August 16 the for Jerry 's 40th
It was a very happy day and so special because shared with Timmy people and all their beautiful little people , who I believe/ hope will carry some "Tim " into the world .

One of many thoughts / verses Tim wrote that comes to mind ( but not sure I quite understand it, his writing was very spiritual I think )
"But, I know I am beginning to see
This light that shines inside of me
There is no need to search externally .........."
Thanks to all who keep Tim and Nick in their hearts

Happy Birthday Tim thinking of you this morning

I am a friend of Tim's from college and recently came across this site again. I am thinking of both Tim and Nick. Two strong and courageous men, united again as angels. God bless the Morelli and Rosselli families.

Thinking of Timmy today.

Posted by mom on Sat Oct 31, 2015 12:03 pm

Hello to all !

So many thoughts and things I would like to say that I usually give up trying to sort it all out.
It is an exceptionally beautiful day on Martha"s Vineyard today and makes me reflect on all the beautiful photography Tim shares with us all.
Then my mind jumps to all the beautiful , thoughtful and kind friends Tim shared with his family, we think of you all every day and are contiinually grateful for all the support and happiness you have given.
I miss hearing funny stories he shared (surely only a fraction of what there are); and still love and deeply aappreciate hearing from all. Hoping to improve response time !
So weird this Halloween "coincidence", actually based on Holy day, but filled with fun , laughter and candy !
Will now attempt to post picture on the Smiles section, hope you will too. Love, aka mini

To the Morelli Family,

Thinking of Tim today and sending our love and happy thoughts to his family and friends. Tim was very special to our family and we spent many fun times with him in Brooklyn and upstate New York. Not a day has gone by that I have not said a simple prayer for him; I just know he is watching over his loved ones. We are all very lucky to have known him and to have shared a small part of his "blue sky".

Tim - Always in our hearts, always loved and never to be forgotten.

With love,
Susan & the Brereton Family

I've been reading a lot of childrens books lately and Frederick by Leo Lionni makes me think of Tim. I know he would love the book (maybe he did? I don't remember) and he reminds me of Frederick. I recommend reading the whole book but I figured I would share the poem at the end.

Who scatters the snowflakes? Who melts the ice?
Who spoils the weather? Who makes it nice?
Who grows the four-leaf clovers in June?
Who dims the daylight? Who lights the moon?

Four little field mice who live in the sky.
Four little field mice...like you and I.

One is the Springmouse who turns on the showers.
Then comes the Summer who paints in the flowers.
The Fallmouse is next with walnuts and wheat.
And Winter is last...with little cold feet.

Aren't we lucky the seasons are four?
Think of a year with one less...or one more!"
